Welcome to BROWZLY, A Paper Books Swap Community. We value the privacy of all of our
users and we know you care about your privacy and the privacy of your children, so we created
this Privacy Policy. It explains the information we collect from users and how and when we
disclose or use it. By accessing or using theBROWZLY website, services, software,
applications, and/or content made available by BROWZLY, "BROWZLY" ("the BROWZLY
Service", “BROWZLY”, "we", and "us"), you are consenting to collection and use of your

1.1 Important notice about BROWZLY Monitoring
We cannot monitor whole of BROWZLY and make no commitment to do so.
However, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to monitor and record your
online activity and communication throughout BROWZLY and to remove and/or
delete any content from BROWZLY at our sole discretion, without further notice to
you, and you expressly agree that we may do so. Any information collected in this
way, including your text communications, the time and location of your activities, and
your Online ID, registered account details and IP address, may be used by us to
enforce BROWZLY Terms of Service, to comply with the law and to protect our rights
and those of our affiliates, users and others, and the personal safety of our
employees, users and others. This information may be passed to the police or other
appropriate authorities. By accepting this Privacy Policy or the BROWZLY Terms of
Service and User Agreement, you expressly consent to this.
In providing our Services, we and our service providers may collect the
information,which may include without limitation, from you:
1.2 Information submitted by you when you register- about yourselfsuch as your name,
year of birth, email address, password, city; and about your family: such as your
child’s/family member’s names, dates of birth,genders, names of their profile,
passwords, school affiliations etc.
1.3 Information when you purchase a subscription to the BROWZLYService such as
your payment information, mailing address, location of the books that you or your
subaccounts list to give away and telephone number.
1.4 Information that you provide or give consent to your subaccounts to provide in public
or private forums or chats or otherwise voluntarily submit through our product

1.5 Through your browser or device: Certain information is collected by most browsers or
automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC)
address, computer or device type, screen resolution, operating system name and
version, device manufacturer and model, language, Internet browser type and
version and the name and version of the Services you are using. We use this
information to help ensure that the Services function properly.
1.6 Using cookies: Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the computer that
you are using. Cookies allow us to collect information such as browser type, time
spent on the Services, pages visited, language preferences, and other traffic data.
We and our service providers use the information for security purposes, to facilitate
navigation, to display information more effectively, to personalize your experience

1.7 Using pixel tags and other similar technologies: Pixel tags (also known as web
beacons and clear GIFs) may be used in connection with some Services to, among
other things, track the actions of users of the Services (including email recipients),
measure the success of our marketing campaigns and compiled statistics about
usage of the Services and response rates.
1.8 IP Address: Your IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to the
computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider. An IP address may be
identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever a user accesses
the Services, along with the time of the visit and the pages that were visited.
Collecting IP addresses is standard practice and is done automatically by many
websites, applications and other services. We use IP addresses for purposes such
as calculating usage levels, diagnosing server problems, and administering the
Services. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address.
1.9 By aggregating information: Aggregated information does not identify you or any
other user of the Services (for example, we may aggregate information to calculate
the percentage of our users who have a particular telephone area code).
We use these types of information: To provide you with the BROWZLY Service and any
features or services you might use or request (e.g., purchases& social networking); To send you
updates about the BROWZLY Service (including any updates on product features or policies);
To communicate with you about purchases or your account; To provide you with personally
relevant Content or product features; To send you feedback on your
child’s/subaccountsactivities and use of BROWZLY services; To investigate and prevent
activities that may violate our policies or be illegal; For gathering anonymous aggregate
information from all our users to improve the products and services offered through the
BROWZLY Service.
2.1 Generally
When you use the Services, you may set up your personal profile, form
relationships, send messages, perform searches and queries, and transmit
information through various channels, depending on the category of user ("User
Category") you are registered as, and as permitted by the functionality of the
Services. The information we gather from users enables us to personalize and
improve our services, and allows users to set up a user account and profile
through the Services.
2.2 Personal Information
2.2.1 The Personal Information you provide is used for such purposes
as responding to your requests for certain information and
services, customizing your experience, and communicating with
you about the Services.
2.2.2 Children’s Personal Information
We use the Children's Personal Information for creating individual
account (which will identify users within your Limited Access
Groups), customizing user experience, and for sending users
notifications via the Services from their fellow Limited Access
Group members, subaccounts and from BROWZLY (regarding
your use of the Services) (“Notifications”). Please note that
parents or guardians, may view the activity and content
associated with theirsubaccounts, including their Children’s
Personal Information.
2.2.3 Your email address
If you provide us your email address, we may send you email
communications. Web beacons may also be used in some of our
emails to let us know which emails (and which links within those
emails) have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge
the effectiveness of our customer communications. To opt out of

2.2.4 Your friend’s contact information
If you are a user and you provide us with a friend’s name, email
address, social networks we will automatically send that friend an
email or social media message inviting him or her to visit
BROWZLY. We store this information for the sole purpose of
sending this email/ notification (and, if applicable, subsequent
“reminder” messages) and tracking the success of our referral
program. The referred friend may contact us at

from our database.
2.3 Usage Information
2.3.1 BROWZLY uses this type of aggregate data to enable us to figure
out how often users use parts of the Services, so that we can
make the Services appealing and relevant to as many users as
possible, and customize and improve those Services. As part of
our use of information, we may provide aggregate information to
our partners (in a non-personally-identifiable format) about how
our users use our site. We share this type of statistical data so
that our partners also understand how often people use our
partners' services and the Services to help provide you with an
optimal online experience. We may link usage information to
Personal Information and Children’s Personal Information that we
collect through the Services, but we will not disclose this linked
information to third parties.
2.3.2 Mobile Usage Information
This information is used to determine the device capabilities and
usage trends which allows us to better understand which devices
we should support and what features are most frequently used.
2.4 Push Notifications
If you use the Mobile Application, we will send push notifications to you and your
subaccounts mobile device in order to help you use the service optimally and
make you aware of certain activities that may occur within your account or within
your subaccounts, such as but not limited to - when you have new notifications,
or when someone has requested a book listed by you or your subaccount, or
when your subaccount reserves a book listed by another user. While some of
these notifications are needed for satisfactory user experience, adherence to the
privacy policy and terms of use, you may be able to opt-out of receiving some
types of notifications by turning them off at the device level or emailing us.
Your information may be disclosed:
3.1 If you have created an account with BROWZLY, we may publicly associate
your profile (or your child’s profile), including the profile name and avatar, with
a User Submission (as defined in our Terms of Service) created by such
profile. Please keep this in mind when you or your children create User
3.2 If you are a child, the only users who may view your profile will be your
primary account holder. However, please keep in mind that information
(whether Personal Information or Children's Personal Information or not) or
content that you voluntarily disclose online (in “communities,” your Limited
Access Groups, to your connections) becomes available to other users and
can be collected and used by others, in accordance with the privacy settings
you select in your account preferences, or in accordance with the User
Category to which you belong. Any captions or other content that you submit
to the Services in a manner any other user can view may be redistributed
through the Internet and other media channels. For example, if you are a
child, the content you contribute in your Limited Access Group(s) will be
displayed to other members of that Limited Access Group; however, we
cannot control what members of your Limited Access Group will do with such
content after you have disclosed it. Your name may be displayed to other
users when you share content such as book reviews or send messages
through the Services and other users can contact you through messages

analysis, payment processing, order fulfillment, information technology and

assets or stock (including in bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
3.6 As we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law,

including public and government authorities outside your country of
residence; (d) to enforce our terms and conditions; (e) to protect our
operations or those of any of our affiliates; (f) to protect our rights, privacy,
safety or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you or others; and (g) to allow
us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
3.7 We may use and disclose information that does not identify or otherwise
directly relate to an individual for any purpose, except where we are required
to do otherwise under applicable law. For example, we may share
aggregated information publicly to demonstrate growth trends related to the
usage of the BROWZLY Service in certain areas.
When you use BROWZLY, certain types of your information are publicly

4.2 BROWZLYOnline ID: when you register a master or sub account, you
may choose an Online ID. When you use BROWZLY, your BROWZLY
Online ID is your public nickname and may be visible to all BROWZLY
users. Other users, such as people whom you interact with online, can
use your BROWZLY Online ID to send you messages or chat. If you
accept other users as your "Friends" in BROWZLY, they may be able see
your activities within BROWZLY. Your BROWZLY Online ID, Profile,
avatar, language, country and points won statistics may be displayed in
4.3 Name: When you createan account, or sign in into a BROWZLY account,
you have the choice between displaying your name or your
BROWZLYOnline ID. If you chose to display your name, this information
will be available in the same way as we describe above for BROWZLY
Online ID. Please be aware that anyone who can see your name will be
able to share it with others, for example by sharing a book review you
4.4 Profile picture: when you set up an BROWZLY account, you can upload a
profile picture for your BROWZLY account, in which case, this will be
publicly available.
4.5 Information you choose to share publicly
You are responsible for any content you post on the BROWZLY or any
information you share with other users on BROWZLY, and this content or
informationmay be accessible to others.
4.5.1. Your activity feed: you can choose to share information about your
BROWZLY account activity such as but not limited to your book
listings, recommendations, points earned and content accessed,
or uploaded. This information may be visible to BROWZLY users
through activity feeds.
4.5.2 We recommend you consider carefully whom you share your
information with.
4.5.3 Our use of the information you choose to share publicly
We and our affiliates may use the content that you share publicly
via our products and services for commercial and promotional
purposes. Please see our software usage terms and BROWZLY
terms of service for more information.
We understand and respect your privacy concerns at BROWZLY. Accordingly, we
provide you with the ability to make certain choices related to our collection, use, and
sharing of your information. These choices may include:
5.1. You may edit or delete information in your user account and your

BROWZLY and some of its services.
5.4.2 Depending upon the registered age of the sub account and
local laws we may email you in order to confirm your
consent to registration and to use their child's personal
information as explained in this Privacy Policy. You may be
able to access to certain information about the use of your
Sub Accounts, including details of Sub Account
transactions and communications, and you should explain
this to your Sub Account users.
5.4.3 Supervise your children's use of devices and the
BROWZLY at all times
6.1 We do not collect personal information from children under the age of 13
unless we have prior parental consent for that child to use the Services and
disclose personal information to us, for the use of BROWZLY services and

this age is 18), you may only use the Services and disclose information to us with

6.3 Any child under the age of 13 using BROWZLY must do so with permission
from a parent. All full names, email addresses, location of books, subaccount
addition and their usage and permissions and payment/billing information must
be from a parent or guardian.
6.4 We encourage parents to take an active role in their children's activities and
interests on their devices.
6.5 When registering your child with BROWZLY, we may ask a series of general
questions including your child's age, school and gender. This information is used
to customize content to your child's age, environment, and interests. We do not
use or disclose this information for any other purposes except to provide you with
quality service.
6.6 Any data that is shared is done so on an anonymous, aggregate basis among
all users or is related to communicating reading behavior patterns to publishers.
When we use the term "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are
referring to personally identifiable information of individual, adult registrants of the
Services. References to "Children's Personal Information" only apply to
personally identifiable information of users who have registered for the Services
as minors (i.e., children under the age of 18). General references to "information"
apply to all users.
7.1 This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for,
the privacy, information or other practices of any third parties,
including any third party operating any site or service to which the
Services link.
7.2 The inclusion of a link on the Services does not imply endorsement of
the linked site or service by us or by our affiliates.
7.3 Although the BROWZLY service is a safe place for kids, a child may
leave BROWZLY using the iOS or Android device Home button.
Should your child leave BROWZLY for another application or browser,
this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We have no control over how
other applications or sites collect, distribute or otherwise use your
personal information or how they safeguard and secure your personal
